GEODESIC DOME

Geodesic domes have an eye-catching and pleasant-looking structure.

• Their strength is due to their geometric features. Their resistance to natural disasters such as earthquakes and hurricanes is high. However, despite this durability, they are produced using less material and are lighter than other structures.

• It is economical. With less material than a normal structure, it also is economical.

• These structures are built without foundations. Quick installation and assembly are other advantages.

• Compared to other types of structures, building architecture offers the largest interior volume in proportion to its surface area. However, since it does not need load-bearing elements such as columns, the space is not divided and thus a large, spacious interior can be obtained.

• It is also very easy to change the structure. For this, it can be disassembled and reassembled, as well as transported as a whole due to its lightweight.

• Due to their 360-degree shape, window openings can be provided from all directions, so they have a high natural light receiving capacity. At the same time, since the heat distribution is high, there is no need to spend a lot of energy heating the interior.
